a new era of chaos

Ignaris is a sci-fi/fantasy Homemade Trading Card Game where you face off with an opponent, each using your 50 card deck filled with unique creatures called Entities (Beasts, Warriors, and Lords), powerful Runes, nasty Symbiotes, and your ultimate resource, Sparr...

Use your Sparr to summon your Entities or revive them from your Graveyard, launch attacks, and dominate the planet. Shatter all your opponent’s Life Cards to claim victory!

In the Ignaris hierarchy, Beasts are strong against Lord-type Entities, able to weaken them with their natural toughness. They typically have high HP, allowing them to withstand heavy blows. However, Beasts have below-average ATK and are weak to Warrior-type Entities, so be careful when your opponent summons a Warrior, or your Beast’s defenses may not hold!

In the Ignaris hierarchy, Lords are strong against Warrior-type Entities, able to weaken them through their unique abilities. While Lords generally have midrange HP and ATK, they make up for it with powerful mystical effects. However, they are weak to Beast-type Entities, so be cautious when youropponent summons a Beast, or your Lord may not last long on the field!

In the Ignaris hierarchy, Warriors are strong against Beast-type Entities, able to cut through their defenses with ease. They specialize in high ATK, dealing heavy damage, but this comes at the cost of low HP. Warriors are also weak to Lord-type Entities, so be careful when your opponent summons a Lord, or your Warrior may not be able to resist!

Rune-type cards are powerful, game-changing effects that can shift the battle in your favor! For example, letting you play a card for free or even clearing the entire board. They can be activated as a Normal Summon during your Main Phase, or as a Counter Summon at any time during your opponent’s turn!

Symbiotic-type cards, or Symbiotes, can be attached to Entities you control such as Beasts, Warriors, or Lords to enhance their attributes like ATK or HP. This process is called Mutating. Symbiotes can be attached at any time during your turn for free! However more powerful Symbiotes have stronger limits to how many you can attach per turn.

Sparr is your main resource. Drawn Sparr cards can be placed in your Charge Zone to summon Entities or Runes, or spend them to re-summon slain Entities from your Graveyard! You may summon as many cards as your Sparr allows, however only 4 Entities are allowed on your field at a time.
